Amateur Radio Emergency Services

Amateur Radio Emergency Service
Also known as ARES, we’re licensed ham radio operators who volunteer on both a county and national level. When disasters strike and normal communications fail, ARES provides reliable backup radio links to support public safety, relief agencies, and our communities.

Community Emergency Response Team

Also on a county and national level, CERT volunteers train with local emergency services to support disaster response. From first aid to search and rescue, CERT members work alongside professionals to keep communities safe when every hand is needed.
